ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Date: Tuesday, 11 June 2019

1. Candidates are required to report by 8.15 am.at the Main Entrance of St. John’s Medical College
2. The Examination is of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration, MCQ type on OMR answer sheets.
3. Candidates are required to bring:

1. Official Photo ID (Aadhar/Passport/Electoral card/Pan card/ Driving licence). Candidates without photo ID will NOT be permitted to enter the Examination Hall.
2. Blue or black ballpoint pen.
3. Printed Hall Ticket (To print the Hall Ticket, login to the admission portal with User name/email ID and password, download and print the hall ticket). Candidates who are unable to generate the Hall Ticket must bring a printed hard copy of the application form and report to the Examination Centre at 8 am.

4. Please note that only candidates who have secured 45 % and above (40 % for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying PUC/ Standard XII Examination are eligible to write the Entrance Examination.
5. Candidates are NOT ALLOWED to bring any of the following inside the Examination Hall.

• Papers other than theAdmit Card/Hall Ticket.
• Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, pagers etc.
• Candidates found with any of the above items on their person will be disqualified.

6. If you have brought along any of the above, you can hand over the same to the invigilator and collect it when you leave the hall after the examination. However please note that the Institution is not responsible for your belongings.
7. Each candidate will be given an Envelope containing the Question paper and OMR Answer Sheet

• Instructions regarding answering the test are given on the envelope. Please read the instructions carefully before answering.
• Take care to enter your Application Number correctly on OMR Answer Sheet. Incorrect entry of Application Number will disqualify you.
• Refer to the Envelope for the instructions on appropriate shading of the answers.
• Please use blue/black ball point pen to mark answers clearly on the OMR Answer Sheet. Do not use gel pen/ink pen.
• There is no negative marking in this exam.

8. After completing the exam, the Question Paper and Answer sheet have to be handed over to the Invigilator before leaving the hall.

INTERVIEW

1. Immediately after the Entrance Test the candidates will proceed for the Interview which will be conducted from 100 am onwards.
2. The candidates are required to bring the following original documents for the Interview for verification.

• Standard X Marks card
• PUC/ Standard XII or equivalent marks card
• Diploma marks card (Lateral Entry Candidates Only)
• Baptism Certificate/ Parish Priest Certification of candidate’s affiliation to his Parish (for Catholic candidates only)
• Domicile Certificate (for Karnataka candidates only)
• Relevant Caste Certificate (for SC/ST candidates only)
• MedicalFitness Certificate

ADMISSION

1. The 1^stlist of candidates selected for Admission will be announced after 6.00 pmon11 June 2019 on the Institutional website, and on the Notice boardsof St. John’s Medical College and the Department of Physiotherapy. Information will not be provided over the phone.
2. Selected candidates should report to the Admission Office, at 8.30 am on 12 June 2019. Admission procedure and fee payment will have to be completed by 4.00 pm, on Thursday, 13 June 2019.
3. To confirm the Admission the selected candidates, need to:

1. Pay the admission fee in full. Please refer to the attached fee chart for details
2. Submit the relevant original certificates to the College
3. Complete the paperwork before 4.00 pm on 13 June 2019.

4. In case of vacant seats, the 2^ndlist of candidates selected for Admission will be announced on 13 June 2019 after 6.00 pm. on the Institutional website and on the Notice boards of St. John’s Medical College and the Department of Physiotherapy.
