The Medical Council of India has revised the curriculum for MBBS students introducing new competencies into all subjects. Certain competencies in Physiology have been directed towards infancy and ageing. Our CME on the ‘Physiology of Infancy and Ageing’ is an attempt to update the knowledge of faculty and postgraduate students of Physiology in these areas. The speakers, highly experienced in the fields of Neonatology, Paediatrics, Physiology, Geriatrics and molecular medicine, will help refresh and streamline concepts making them more suitable to be delivered to undergraduate students in Physiology. The sessions will cover both theoretical and practical concepts which may serve as tools to design teaching sessions for Physiologists across the state.
