Description
This one-year distance education program is designed for allopathic doctors aiming to enhance their skills in managing common medical problems across all age groups in a family practice setting. The course emphasizes a system-based, patient-centred approach with a strong foundation in clinical reasoning, ethical practice, and holistic care delivery.

Eligibility
Open to all MBBS graduates practicing or planning to practice in the community. Preference will be given to St. John's Medical College alumni serving in rural areas.

Duration
12 months (must be completed within 2 years of enrolment)

Responsibilities
• Participate in weekly clinical case vignettes (40) and monthly video calls
• Submit responses to case vignettes and complete 4 practical projects
• Attend a mandatory 6-day contact session at St. John's Medical College
• Attempt and pass quarterly assessments (MCQs)
• Fulfil the minimum academic requirements to be eligible for certification

Mode of Conduction
Hybrid format - Online via MS Teams (case vignettes, video calls, assessments) + In-person 6-day contact session at St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru
